Christmas competition

It's like the buses, I don't blog for ages and then do 2 in one evening.
I wasn't able to go to the Christmas lunch but I do have photos of a few of the competition entries - Inchies in red and gold.

Just a few of the inchie entries

The winning inchie

No the cup is not large, the little book is only 1" x 1"

Also the raffle was drawn and the lucky winner of the collaborative quilt made by members was Irene Earl.

Members’ Day

We made a good start on work towards the Capability Brown festival. As our exhibition will be at Fountains Abbey we began by looking at images from the Abbey with particular reference to the landscape. We plan to produce a collaborative piece with as many contributions from members as possible. If you would like to join in the fun you can create a small panel (or several) 2” by 3” portrait in any technique or medium you like.
