Members' Day

We had a lovely day yesterday creating jewellery and experimenting with the branch's newly purchased embellishing machine. Paula taught paper bead making and Irene ran a workshop on making brooches using paper and felt. Margaret and Heather also demonstrated using the embellishing machine and making macrame and bead bracelets.

Paper Stitch Print

May's speaker was Vivienne Brown. She has spoken at the branch before and as expected she gave a very informed and interesting talk on her work. She particularly focused on her work with stitch and paper and explained some of the processes she uses.
Her work has recently been on display at the Bankfield museum.
