Our speaker this month was Bridget Bernadette Karn who gave us an
inspiring and fascinating talk about felting processes and how to use
felting to make a picture. She was so enthusiastic and her work was
amazing.

ReplyDeletemy name is Tanya, and I'm based in Leeds and specialise in medieval embroidery. I take part in Leeds university International Medieval Congress every year, and have been teaching medieval embroidery and opus anglicanum techniques at the Ashmolean in Oxford and Lakeside arts in Nottingham for several years now. Last week I gave a talk for the embroiderer's guild in Broadwell, Oxfordshire.
