We had an amazing talk from Vivienne Brown at our last meeting entitled ‘ Flowery Treats and Tributes’.
Vivienne gave a brief outline of her career and also the development through the ages of flowers in embroidery. She then showed pictures of her work and the inspiration behind it. Vivienne had also brought many examples of her work which were exquisite and breathtaking. We had a lovely inspiring afternoon.
In December we have our Christmas meal at Ascot House where the challenge is to make a scissors case.
