Sculptural Stitch

Bella May Leonard gave us a fascinating talk.She uses traditional embroidery stitches with a twist! Instead of fabric and embroidery threads she uses perspex and plastics with various industrial ropes, cords and shoe laces to create large sculptural pieces. She showed us pictures of her installations and brought along some of her smaller pieces for us to look at. A very talented and enthusiastic young lady.
