This month’s
speaker was Kate Wells, a textile artist, who shared with us her artist’s
journey both outer and inner.
She brought
many beautiful examples of her work and talked through the development of “Dip
Your Mind in Gold” – a stunning circular, gold free machine embroidered piece.
Lace made on dissolvable fabric and silk using a Singer “Irish” Industrial
machine.
