From Print to Stitch

Catherine Howard gave a fantastic workshop today involving paint, print and stitch. We spent the morning creating a picture using collage, mark making and crumpled glossy magazines. Once we were satisfied, Catherine photographed our work and then printed it onto fabric. The afternoon was then spent adding stitched detail to the pieces. Although we were all using the same techniques I’m sure you will agree that each piece is unique.

I look forward to seeing the finished pieces in our exhibition in September!
