Unfortunately our May speaker cancelled last minute but
Harrogate member, Irene Earl, stepped in to talk about the many books she has
made over the years. She brought over 50 books varying from simple books
covers, sketch books, altered books and books made from scratch.
Irene also showed examples of travelling journals and we hope that members will get involved in starting some new travelling journals. Members’ day in June will concentrate on creating journals so remember to bring an A5 sketchbooks and basic sewing kit.

Looks like you have accumulated even more handmade books than me and I have quite a few. It is getting worse because I go to a Creative Bookbinding class every Friday afternoon and we make something new most weeks!!
