Pollie
and Garry Uttley fell in love with India after their first visit in 1995 and
have returned many times. The richly patterned textiles of India have
influenced their beautiful ceramic pieces. Their highly decorative pots and
wall panels are created using a variety of techniques such as mono and screen
printing. Sheesha glass, camel bone beads, gold leaf and stitching are also
used. Some of the wall panels are manipulated to look like folds and have a delightful
textile-like texture to them.
